Archetype Sustainable House: Insulation
Proper insulation is the first step to improved overall energy efficiency, and on-site experts explain what steps have been incorporated in the Archetype Sustainable House project in order to reduce energy dependency. As a result of energy and water conservation technologies, as well as material sourcing and construction processes, each home is rated under a variety of new home labeling systems including EnergyStar, GreenHouse, LEED for Homes and R-2000 labels.
